Macadamia ANZAC Biscuits



Menjelang ANZAC day..
ANZAC Biscuits pun bertebaran di mana-mana..
Dari Supermarket besar hingga Bakery-bakery kecil..

Udah 6 tahun di tanah Australia ini,
baru pernah terbersit bikin sendiri,
padahal seneng banget makan kue ini..

Dua minggu browsing sana sini..
Kok ngga ada yang sreg di hati..
Jadilah di gabung-gabung.. 
Dicampur-campur berbagai resep yang beredar!

Bahannya gampang..
Bikinnya gampang juga..
Hasilnya? MEMUASKAN!

Macadamia ANZAC Biscuits

Ingredients :

150 g Plain Flour
220 g Brown Sugar
100 g Oats
(Gw pake yang instant, Cinnamon & Brown Sugar)
90 g Desiccated Coconut (Shredded)
125 g Butter
1 tbsp Golden Syrup
2 tbsp Boiling Water
1 tsp Bicarb Soda

Method :

Pre-heat oven to 180 degrees C and line trays with Baking Paper.

Combine the Flour, Brown Sugar, Oats and Coconut in a bowl.
(Dry Mixture)

In a saucepan melt the butter and Golden Syrup.
(Butter Mixture)

Mix the Bicarb and Boiling Water in a Cup.
Add to the Butter Mixture.
Giving it a little stir.
Add this to the Dry Mixture and stir to combine.

Shape into 2cm balls with hands and place far apart on the baking sheet as they will spread a lot.
I fit 8 balls per tray. Bake for 15-18 minutes.
Allow to cool on the tray and then place on a cooling rack as they will firm up then.
