Cinnamon Soft Pretzel

Jaman pacaran dulu,
gw sama Jake suka banget nonton di Mall Taman Anggrek.
Sambil bawa cemilan Pretzel-nya Auntie Annes

Inilah hasil-nya :

Modified : Virelya

Ingredients :

1 Cup Milk
2 1/4 tsp Instant Yeast
3 tbsp Brown Sugar
2 1/4 Cup Plain Flour
8 tbsp Melted Butter
1 tsp Salt
1/3 Cup Baking Soda
3 Cups Water
Cinnamon Sugar
( 1 Cup Sugar + 3 tbsp Cinnamon)

Method :

Warm the milk until 110 degrees Fahrenheit. Pour the milk into Bread Maker Pan. Sprinkle the yeast on top. Let it soften, about 10 minutes then stir in the Brown Sugar.

Stir the Butter into the mix. Add Flour and Salt.  Pour the melted Butter into the mix.

Turn on the Bread Maker, set into "Dough Only".. START!

Waiting for one and half hour..
The Dough is READY!!!

Pre-heat oven to 230 degrees Celcius and line a baking sheet with parchment.
Dissolve the baking Soda in 3 Cups of Water in a shallow baking dish.
Set pan by the prepared baking sheet.

Punch The Dough and the turn it onto a lightly flour surface.
Divide the dough into 30 pieces (small pretzel) or 6 pieces (big pretzel).

Roll and stretch each pieces with the palms of your hands (using flour if necessary) into a 18-20 cm rope (small pretzel) 24-30 inch (big pretzel) rope, holding the ends and slapping the middle of the rope on the counter as you stretch. Form each rope into a pretzel shape.

Gently dip each pretzel in the Soda Solution, the arrange on the Baking Sheet.

Bake until golden, 10-12 minutes.

Dip the warm Pretzels in the Canola Oil then place on a wire rack to let excess Oil drip off.

Roll the Pretzel in a bowl of Cinnamon Sugar.
