Banana Jam


Waktu ke Coffs Harbour Easter Break 2012
sempet mampir di Big Banana dan nyobain Banana Jam-nya
Enak banget!!!

Sempet lagi ke sana early 2013 ini,
Tapi lupaaa beli nya :-P

Browsing lah sana-sini resepnya,
Kurang lebih sama lah resepnya..
Resep inti gw ambil dari notquitenigella,
yang katanya dapat resep dari salah satu Manager Big Banana ini..

Ini Resep yang sudah gw ubah2 dikit sesuai selera gw :

Ingredients :
4 Medium Bananas
1/4 Cup of Water
Lime Juice from 1 Lime
1 Cup Brown Sugar
1 tbs Butter
1 tbs Vanilla
pinch of Salt
pinch of Cinnamon

Method :
Blend Sliced Bananas with 1/4 Water in a blender.
(Chunky Bananas)

Pour The Chunky Bananas in to the pan,
add all of the ingredients.

Bring to a rapid boil for 5 minutes then turn down the heat,
and let it simmer gently till it become thick,
this should take about 30-40 minutes.

Jam is done when a spoon scraped across bottom of pan
leaves a track that closes slowly,
or when jam mounds while stirring.

*to sterilise jars, heat glass jars and metal lids, in a 180C/350F
oven for 10 minutes and allow to cool ensuring that you don't 
toiuch inside the jars.
